Tip of the Week #76 – Error on Quick Quote When Selecting a Product Group
Senior Consultant Lutz Schmieder is back with a helpful remedy for a somewhat confusing question asked by the system.
Sometimes if you select a Product Group in the Quick Quote screen, you may encounter an unexpected message such as shown in the first screenshot below.
The problem is that there is no template attached to the selected Product Group:
To correct this, attach a template to the product group by going to:
<Company Name>/Departments/Administration/PrintVis Setup/Estimating/Estimation Automation Setup
From there, simply link a template to each Product Group that is used in Quick Quote.
