This week the PrintVis team is enjoying the latest Directions North America from our various offices around the world. The event includes a daily series of ISV sessions, where independent software vendors (ISVs) are describing the functionality of their unique applications, their integrations with the major Microsoft platforms, and the industries to which they cater.

Just last November PrintVis was in a similar spotlight, for Virtual Directions EMEA 2020.

What is Directions?

“Directions 4 Partners is the independent community for Microsoft Dynamics 365 partners from the ERP and CRM channels focusing on the SMB market. It is organized for partners by partners. The community is where Microsoft Dynamics 365 Partners are able to connect, learn directly from Microsoft and other partners, and grow together. Our Community brings together over 4000 developers, implementers, technical experts, sales, marketing and executive/owner representatives from the Microsoft Dynamics channel.”

Directions takes place in different key locations each year, typically with a new host city for each given region: EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa), Asia and North America. Host cities have included and/or will include Bangkok, Milan, Vienna, Orlando, Phoenix, San Diego, Berlin, Prague, Rome and more. It’s a truly worldly event with a very local angle. Very much like our print MIS software, it’s meant to work for the entire world but sold and serviced for you by someone who could be your neighbor. Local, state and international tax codes influence this strategy, but mostly it’s about good customer service.

Yes, It’s For Partners, but Ultimately for You

While Directions is aimed at organizing and galvanizing the formidable Microsoft Partner Network, what is presented there is ultimately about you, the end customer. And while the PrintVis presentation at the first fully virtual Directions last Fall was addressed to our potential Partners, we think you might enjoy seeing and hearing what we have to say about the value of going to market with a mature product (PrintVis has been serving your industry for nearly 25 years, on a path of continuous improvement), and the many good reasons to cater to the print industry vertical.

So please enjoy as our illustrious CEO Kasper Tomshøj and some other great colleagues discuss the enduring value of the print industry with customers from packaging and commercial print, as well as longtime and brand new Partners!

P.S. Next week is Directions ASIA.
