PrintVis follows the release cycle of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. With each release PrintVis is enriched with additional features, updated infrastructure and enhanced integrations.
The most recent release is PV19 launched in November 2021 for on-prem and cloud. To learn more about the specific highlights of each release, please see this Release Highlight document.
With PV19 we proudly feature a new integration with the latest Kodak Prinergy Cloud portfolio service, Dynamic Print Planning. Kodak Dynamic Print Planning enables you to automate your ganging and print planning in offset and digital printing. DPP suggests when and how print jobs are produced on which Cost Center. Its top priority is meeting required delivery dates, and its second priority is cost minimization over an entire pool of orders.
PrintVis now provides better support for optimal machine and substrate selection when creating an estimate. When a lookup is done into the List of Units from the Job Item, during the brief time it takes to open the page, each List of Units is calculated through by the system. Once the machine list is populated, the sorting is such that the machines are displayed and ordered according to the calculated price for the process and the sum of prerequisites mentioned, with the least expensive machine options at the top of the list.
In addition, we continue to expand our selection of integrations to 3rd-party shipping software with EasyPost and 2Ship, both of which are affordable, flexible solutions with modern shipping API, making it easy to rate shop between carriers, buy and print labels, verify addresses, track packages, and insure shipments. Both solutions provide rates for carriers across the world and present them on a user-friendly interface, sorted by lowest cost and/or fastest delivery time.
PrintVis is available on Microsoft AppSource, and is available in English (United States, Canada, Great Britain, Australia, New Zealand), German (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, Dutch, Spanish, French and Italian.
