How One of Scandinavia’s Largest Printing Companies Gained Clarity, Efficiency, and Flexibility with PrintVis

Stibo Complete is Scandinavia’s leading company in the design, development, production, and distribution of printed marketing materials. With the motto “Better Marketing Solutions”, Stibo’s focus is to create marketing that delivers maximum impact for their customers. The company offers a complete solution from idea and concept development to printing, packaging, logistics, and distribution. Stibo Complete serves a wide range of industries, including retail, healthcare, public institutions, and publishing. Stibo Complete traces its roots back to 1794 and has evolved from a traditional printing house into a modern graphic group.

In 2023, they merged with the German Eversfrank Group to strengthen their position as Northern Europe’s leading graphic superstore. In 2024, they positioned their presence in Sweden, acquiring the activities and equipment from one of V-TAB’s plants in Sweden. The latest acquisition was in spring of 2025 where Aller Tryk in Copenhagen joined Stibo Complete, thus further cementing their status as the largest printing company in Scandinavia.

As Stibo Complete across all departments handles ca. 70000 orders annually, processing everything from rotary catalogues, commercial print, large-format printing, pharma labels, book production and much more, the system requirements are complex. With PrintVis as their fully integrated ERP and MIS solution, Stibo Complete has brought their entire production onto a single platform – and gained clarity in a highly complex daily operation.

From Fragmented Systems to Full Integration

Mogens Højgaard, who has been responsible for PrintVis since 2007 and is now a superuser at Stibo Complete, has followed and evolved with the system closely – both before and after Stibo’s acquisition of Rosendahls in 2020.

“Previously, we exported the invoicing data as a CSV file and manually imported it into another system. It was heavy and inefficient,” Mogens explains.
“Today, we have a complete overview of cases, jobs, and invoices in one system. That’s the great strength of PrintVis directly built into Business Central”.

One System – The Full Spectrum

Stibo Complete is, as Mogens puts it, “a graphic supermarket” – delivering the full range of printed materials, from idea and layout to the final products. This wide array of services places high demands on both flexibility and scalability.

We use practically every corner of PrintVis,” he says.
“There aren’t many systems out there that can handle high-volume print, commercial print, labels, large-format and pharma – and also be fully integrated with Microsoft’s ERP platform.

The close collaboration with the PrintVis team has even led to the development of specific modules, particularly for rotary printing, which have since been included in the standard solution.

Technology Is Only half the Success

Mogens emphasize how important it is to involve the daily users in the daily process of developing and maintaining a liquid and flexible system. “We asked employees to contribute and to test every single function they use in their workday, to ensure they are comfortable using the system. Further we educate superusers in each department – to become key users and ambassadors, assisting and helping their colleagues.”

A Clear Recommendation: One solution that covers it all

When asked about the most important benefits of PrintVis, Mogens highlights two things: The broad functionality and the seamless integration.

“It’s the full integration with Business Central and the wide functionality that make the difference. PrintVis covers the entire graphic industry – and that makes it a solution you can truly grow with.”
