Tip of the Week #115 – Prepping for PRINT17 – Grow Your Business!

Tip of the Week #115 – Prepping for PRINT17 – Grow Your Business!

Marketing Coordinator Michael Bradley brings us this week’s tip.

Currently in the southeastern United States (Atlanta GA, where PrintVis U.S. is headquartered) we are deeply soaked in the steaming summer doldrums. It’s been sweltering; Of course that’s to be expected in late July. Indeed, half my European colleagues are on holiday. But in the U.S. it’s around this time every year that we at PrintVis (Microsoft-certified ERP for the print industry) – as well as so many print-related businesses (commercial printers, packaging companies, label manufacturers, other print supply vendors) – start to think ahead to September, and to Chicago, where the annual GraphExpo trade show takes place.

Every fourth year the event is given the summary re-brand of “PRINT” along with the appropriate year. So this year it’s “PRINT17” that will draw thousands and thousands to the windy city. I can feel the excitement starting to brew – I really can. I love the anticipation of the travel, the changing seasons, diving into all the strategic work to come up with an attractive booth and compelling message for the throngs of cheerful attendees who add to the din of the vastness that is McCormick Place. It’s quite a lot to look forward to. I also ran Kluges and Heidelbergs for so many years that it’s nostalgic to be around them, to smell the hot foil, the inks, the warm motors whirring. Then again, my real motivation might be that amazing reuben at The Berghoff (vegetarians beware, it will break you).

Last year GraphExpo was held, for a change, in Orlando. It’s unclear if the show will ever return there, but after all these years it’s hard not to think of Chicago as the show’s natural home. It’s definitely worth the ticket – all you printers, print brokers, packagers, label makers, finishers – there’s so much to discover and learn about the newest technologies and industry trajectories. We want to meet you!

So – we have a stack of exhibits passes to give away, compliments of PrintVis. You only need to register on or before the August 25th deadline (you have one month to plan who’s going!).

The complimentary exhibits-only pass is a $40/55 value, and when you click the link below to sign up you’ll also find you have the option for a $50 PRINT 17 seminar registration discount (including the OUTLOOK 17 conference). Admission to the exhibit hall is included with the seminar badge. Just click below to register with no obligation.

PrintVis will be in Booth 252 – GO HERE to MAP YOUR SHOW.

From a recent press release:

Reston, VA – PRINT 17, the largest gathering of the printing, publishing, in-plant, graphic communications and mailing/fulfillment communities in the Americas, is back in Chicago with new opportunities to grow the industry.
